You are invited to the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the W.C. Reid Center
Located at 133 Livingston St, Asheville, NC
Wednesday, August 8th from 3pm-4pm
Green Opportunities, the Asheville Housing Authority, and other community partners are renovating the historical W.C. Reid Center into a green jobs training and education center. We envision the center as a place where people from the surrounding neighborhoods can access education, job training, support services and other resources that help them achieve greater self-sufficiency and empowerment. As such, renovation of the building is providing ongoing opportunities to train and employ locals, especially public housing residents.
LIGHT REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.
